Long Beach video,made for summer

Long Beach businesses live and die by the season. We shoot boardwalk, beach and bar content that keeps customers coming back from May to September and beyond.

The Town Market

A barrier island city that runs on summer

Long Beach is a barrier island city between the Atlantic and Reynolds Channel, with a long boardwalk running along the ocean and the LIRR's Long Beach Branch ending a few blocks from the sand. Restaurants, bars and coffee shops line the streets near the beach and through the West End, alongside surf shops, gyms, yoga studios and wellness businesses. Summer brings day-trippers from Nassau and Queens and a steady run of beach events, while the year-round community keeps much of the town busy in the off-season.

Seasonality is the force that shapes video here. A bar or surf shop earns a large share of its year between Memorial Day and Labor Day, so content has to be ready before the crowds arrive, not filmed in the middle of them. Customers find these businesses on Instagram and TikTok while deciding where to go that afternoon, which means vertical, fast and current beats a long brand film. The light also matters: golden hour on the beach and boardwalk is the look people expect, and it does not wait.

Where We Would Start

For a Long Beach business, we usually start with a spring shoot that banks a season of content. A restaurant or bar might get a hero clip plus 15 to 20 vertical cuts showing food, drinks and the room, ready to post through summer. A fitness or wellness studio might get class footage and a short founder piece. Then we return for one or two summer events to capture the crowd and energy. That rhythm keeps your feed fresh without asking your staff to film during the rush.

What We Make in Long Beach

Concept to color, on location.

Our social media content is built for exactly this, in the vertical style of our VALA apparel work. Event videography covers summer nights, festivals and launches, and brand photography handles menus and interiors. Long Beach is part of our Nassau County coverage, and we shoot across the line in Queens too. Browse our work for event recaps, then reach out before the season starts. One planning call is enough to map the shoot dates, the deliverables and a posting plan that carries you from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Questions

Filming in Long Beach.

Do we need a permit to film on the Long Beach boardwalk or beach?

For commercial shoots, usually yes. The City of Long Beach manages the boardwalk and beaches and has its own process for commercial filming and photography, and beach access in summer has its own rules. A small crew is simpler than a full set, but we still confirm requirements during planning and handle the application so the shoot day goes smoothly.

When should we book a shoot for summer content?

Ideally in April or May. That gives us time to film before Memorial Day and deliver a bank of content you can post all summer. Late spring also has softer crowds and good light. If you want event coverage in July or August, book those dates early too, because summer weekends fill quickly for everyone on the island.

What time of day do you shoot beach content?

Early morning and the last hour or two before sunset. Morning gives an empty beach and calm, clean light, which is great for fitness and wellness brands. Golden hour gives the warm look most people associate with Long Beach and suits bars and lifestyle brands. Midday sun is harsh and crowded, so we save it for interiors.

Can you film at our bar during a busy night?

Yes. Real crowds are often what sells a bar, and we work with a small, mobile crew that stays out of the way of staff and guests. We post signage that filming is happening and focus on wide shots, drinks and the room. For anyone featured up close, we get a release on the spot. Earlier in the night is easiest to manage.
